1. Pope Francis announced that 2024 be marked as a Year of Prayer, preparing for the 2025 Jubilee themed “Pilgrims of Hope”. A new guide “Teach us to Pray” is now available online and a digital version can be downloaded free from the Vatican website. We encourage parishioners to make good use of this useful resource.
  2. To put children at the centre and care for them, Pope Francis has announced the First World Children’s Day event to take place on 25-26 May in Rome. Aligning with the Holy Father’s initiative, the Hong Kong Diocese has planned a series of activities inviting children and parents to join in friendship and prayer with God’s blessings. Please refer to the poster for details and pray for smooth running of the planned programmes.
  3. The Parish’s five Chinese catechumenate classes for adults are recruiting. All parishioners are invited to share good news with relatives and friends who do not yet know Jesus and welcome them to attend our catechism classes.
  4. Today is Vocations Sunday. After final blessing, we will say the Prayer for Vocations together.
