Temporary Suspension of Sunday & Weekday Masses (until further update)

  1. To comply with the new pastoral measures of the Hong Kong Diocese (announced on 2 December 2020) to combat Covid-19 transmission, St. Anthony’s Church has the following arrangements:
  • Opening Hours of the Church: 7:00am – 8:00pm daily
  • Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament (Weekdays and Sundays):
    (a) 7:30am – 9:00am Monday to Saturday
    (b) 7:00pm – 8:00pm Thursday
    (c) 7:00am – 8:00am;8:30am – 9:30am;10:00am – 11:00am;11:30am – 12:30pm (English) Sunday
  • Sacrament of Reconciliation:
    (a) 8:00am – 8:30am Monday, Wednesday, Friday 
    (b) 8:00am – 8:30am;9:30am – 10:00am;11:00am – 11:30am Sunday
    (c) Personal arrangements with priests
  1. The faithful may choose one of the following alternatives to attending Sunday Mass:
    (a) Taking part in a Sunday Mass online (e.g., through the diocesan website www.catholic.org.hk ) and receive Holy Communion spiritually; OR
    (b) Reflecting on the Sunday liturgical text, reading the Bible or saying the Rosary, etc.
  2. The faithful can avail themselves of various online services to take part in daily Masses or spiritual exercises, such as the Rosary, the Angelus and daily morning prayer by visiting the diocesan website (www.catholic.org.hk), the “Click to Pray” network (https://clicktopray.org), the Sunday Examiner website (http://www.examiner.org.hk/), etc.

  1. The Hong Kong Central Council of Catholic Laity has produced Lai See packets and Lunar New Year greeting banners for distribution to our parishioners. All are welcome to obtain from the front end of the Parish Office Reception and offer donations.
  2. The Parish 2021 Diary is available for parishioners to take a free copy.
  3. The January issue of the Shepherd Flock’s Dialogue is out. Please obtain your copy at the Office Reception or download the electronic version from the parish website.
  4. The January issues of two children’s educational publications – Vox Amica Press (良友之聲) and Joyful Vanguard (樂鋒報) – are now available. Every purchase will receive a free copy of the December issue of the same magazine.
  5. We recommend a new Chinese booklet titled “Journey with St. Anthony” (伴你同行聖安多尼) by Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Ha. With every purchase at the parish office, an additional booklet on “St. Anthony’s Words of Wisdom” (聖安多尼金玉良言) will be offered for free.
  6. The Chinese version of God’s Word Daily 2021 (每日聖言) is now available at the Parish Office. We encourage parishioners to purchase the booklet for daily reading and prayer.
  7. The new quarterly issue of “Living Faith” with daily scriptural reflections from January to March 2021 is now available. Purchases can be made at the Parish Office.
