In this Month of Mary, we encourage everyone to pray the Rosary fervently, read the Bible regularly, perform works of charity, and offer spiritual flowers as gifts for Our Lady. You can write your prayer or wish on the Spiritual Flowers Cards provided by the Parish and place them in the basket near the Mary Help of Christians statue in the Prayer Corner set up at the St. Bosco Foyer, seeking the Blessed Mother’s intercession. Please refer to the notice board for details of the Marian Month Programme.
We will celebrate our 71st Parish Anniversary on Saturday, 8 June, with Holy Mass to be presided by Cardinal John Tong at 5:00pm. Afterwards a celebrative banquet will be held at Maxim’s Palace in Sheung Wan. Those who would like to attend dinner gathering and take bus transport arranged by the parish, please purchase tickets at the Parish Office.
The Parish’s five Chinese catechumenate classes for adults are recruiting. All parishioners are invited to share good news with relatives and friends who do not yet know Jesus and welcome them to attend our catechism classes.
The May issues of two children’s educational publications – Vox Amica Press (良友之聲) and Joyful Vanguard (樂鋒報) – are now available. Purchases can be made at the Parish Office.
The May issue of the Shepherd Flock’s Dialogue is out. Please obtain your copy at the St. John Bosco Foyer or at the Office Reception. Taking further copies to share with others is very welcome.
